Sherry Womble

Sherry Womble knows life at times can be very challenging and sometimes just not fair. It is during these moments when our faith falters that we need encouragers to remind us about God’s promises. Sherry has this gift to plant a seed of hope when the day seems too dark and ugly to proceed.

Sherry uses her training as a lay counselor and associates in Biblical study with Hebrew insights to bring the promises of God to the nations. Her gift of storytelling brings practical application of the Scriptures to life for those struggling through abuse: physically, mentally, and spiritually.

Currently Sherry is leading a Bible study helping students to understand the connection of the Old Testament to every day life, encouraging her students to read God’s word daily.

Sherry Womble’s talents extend as a writer and editor as she has been directed by the Lord to “birth” books out of others. Sherry has been in the publishing industry for over 11 years and has started her own publishing company, Abundant Rain.

Some projects she has helped with are Communication Plus by Marita Littauer, The Apple You Were Fed by Kimberly Lisowski and Andrea Pouliot, An Overview of the Old Testament by John Malseed, and Women on the Move Cookbook published by AMG Publishers. Sherry has a contributing story in Gettin’ Old Ain’t for Wimps by Karen O’Connor and works as a copywriter.

Her future plans include an Awakening Center in San Antonio, Texas where those with a broken heart can come to receive hope and healing.

Sherry Womble lives in San Antonio being a born and raised Texas farm girl. Her teenage children are college bound leaving Sherry plenty of time to write and scrapbook.

I think you will enjoy her words of inspiration and hope. To read her column, click here.

Wendy Staudt

Wendy Staudt is a wife, step mom, grandmother and sister and friend.

She understands that life is a journey and each step of her journey is set before her by the choices she makes. She has seasons of joy and seasons of sorrows but her faith in her Master has grown stronger through each season. She is not afraid to stop for a moment to pray for someone, give someone a hug or even just smile to make someone’s day.

She has been through many seasons in her life to bring her to the understanding that life is a gift.

She attended art school and graduated with the heart of an artisan. She paints and creates pieces of art that glorify the One who gave her the gift. She also ministers in dance as she worships with movement in the Spirit.

Wendy and her sisters began an encouragement newsletter several years ago when their mother went home to be with the Lord. This newsletter reached all over the world to help hurting hearts. This newsletter along with journaling was the beginning of Wendy’s season of writing.

Wendy lives in Colorado with her husband and two dogs. She loves to travel and keeps a journal of each adventure that God takes her on.

May her words inspire you to uncover the gift that God has given you to share with the world.
